The Heroes behind the scenes

As I've said a lot over the last few days, Neko Nation Sydney was absolutely amazing, it was completely on another level, I had a feeling more people were going to be there and there were plans of making it a lot better but yeah, everything surpassed my already high expectations, as usual I may stand at the top of the food chain when it comes to all the praise but seriously a massive thanks to all the people involved and those who came down too make our show magical.

A lot of what has happened with Neko Sydney is done with the help of a lot of people but there's a few people in particular who do a tonne of work behind the scenes that you don't get to see, being at the venue from 6am on Saturday to 7am on Sunday, there's a very special and amazing team that turns this empty room into the amazing party that it is.

Dorian: You see anything around the venue that lights up or makes a sound that's Dorian, he's helped done an amazing job on a technical level with the show.  For him, Neko isn't a gig that he is incredibly passionate about and goes into extraordinary levels to see this venue get lit up and bring this place to life.  He has always done an amazing job but this last show with the new stage setup was on a completely new level.

Herbie: Without him, Neko Nation wouldn't be in Sydney, despite all the problems with our first Eastern States show in Melbourne, he did everything in his power to bring the event to Sydney and make it work from it's small underground beginnings to what it is today.  Herbie has been in charge of making and creating a lot of the decor you've seen such as the massive cats and takes care of a lot of the huger tasks that while you don't see such as dealing with the venue and ensuring the night runs smoothly, heck even my accommodation!  Herbie doesn't usually get as much credit as I do but he deserves too, if not more for helping create Neko in Sydney.

Bri, Conal, James, Nathan: I'm sorry if I left anyone out but these are the ones I usually remember seeing at setup and packup at all the Neko Nation events.  There is a tonne of work to get the venue setup and it's thanks a lot to our awesome pack and setup crew who put in insane amounts of hours and help to get Neko Nation ready within half a day.  Seriously what you guys do is absolutely incredible and Neko Nation doesn't happen without you all.  I know there's probably a few more that help out here and there but those 4 are the ones that generally stick out.
